I took photos of this wall (which is in the stairwell beside my flat) that was being given a chemical peel treatment to take off the many layers of paint that had been applied to it over the years. The orange plastic cover had peeled off, bringing with it some of the paintwork, and so creating these wonderful spaces that revealed a 'Madonna Blue' wall. Set against the draping white paint it transformed what could have been seen as an ugly mess into an image of beauty.
